Tesla delivered 486,532 vehicles in the third quarter of 2026, beating the average analyst estimate of 456,896 vehicles, according to data compiled by Visible Alpha. The results were released October 2.

The Austin, Texas-based electric vehicle maker produced 464,391 vehicles during the July-September period and deployed 13.7 GWh of energy storage products. Deliveries were higher than production as Tesla supplied vehicles produced during earlier periods.

European sales provided an important boost, helping offset weaker demand in the United States and China. Reuters reported that Tesla's European registrations increased substantially through August, with the Model Y reaching the top spot among all vehicle models in France during that period.

Tesla is scheduled to report its third-quarter financial results on October 21. The company now needs 311,448 deliveries in the fourth quarter to match its 2025 annual delivery total.
