Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) has announced the launch of Truth API, a new subscription-based data service designed to provide banks, hedge funds, and trading firms with the fastest access to posts from influential Truth Social accounts, including those of President Donald Trump.
The new service is aimed at organizations that rely on real-time information to make rapid financial decisions. According to the company, Truth API will deliver posts from the platform’s 10 most influential accounts significantly faster than standard Truth Social notifications, offering an advantage to firms using algorithmic trading strategies and market analysis tools.
TMTG said the product addresses a growing demand for instant access to market-moving information. Until now, many financial institutions have depended on manual monitoring or third-party methods to track influential Truth Social posts. The company believes Truth API will streamline that process by providing a direct and licensed data feed.
The launch also marks TMTG’s first move into the data licensing business, creating a new potential revenue stream as the company seeks to diversify beyond its social media platform in an increasingly competitive digital landscape.
Interim CEO Kevin McGurn said financial markets frequently react to posts published on Truth Social, particularly those from President Trump. He added that as adoption grows, Truth API is expected to become a meaningful and recurring source of revenue for the company.
President Trump has used Truth Social to announce major policy decisions and trade-related updates that have influenced global financial markets, including tariff measures and comments on U.S.-China trade relations. These posts have made the platform an important source of information for investors, businesses, and financial institutions.
Truth API will offer continuous, around-the-clock access to influential posts and include an archive of content dating back to 2022. TMTG confirmed that several customers have already signed up ahead of the service’s planned launch on August 1.
The company also stated that some organizations have been collecting Truth Social data without authorization for months. TMTG said it intends to enforce its licensing model more strictly and encourage firms to obtain official access through the new API service.
